We hope you are well and coping with all that the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown at us.
The Chief Dental Officer has now announced that dental practices across England will be allowed to begin the process of reopening for all emergency and routine face to face dental care from Monday 8th June.
Throughout the pandemic we have been clear that our main priority is the wellbeing of our patients and colleagues and this continues to be the case. As a result Writtle Dental Practice will only be opening once we are satisfied that we have all of the necessary processes and personal protective equipment (PPE) in place to ensure your safety. When we are able to open is dependent on the availability of PPE, as I am sure you are aware, this has been prioritised for healthcare workers in the front line treating Covid-19 patients.
It is likely that some treatments will be available before others as there are different PPE requirements for different treatments. We are working through the detail of this as quickly as possible and will be communicating again with you soon with more information about when we will be open.
In the meantime if you need advice or are in need of urgent dental treatment, you should continue to contact the practice for help and advice.
We are working hard to support patients who need care as quickly as possible and will be opening Writtle Dental Practice to provide further treatments as soon as we are safely able to do so. We will keep you fully informed of this process.
